New equipment for the needs of TPPE Sveti Nikole

Today, new firefighting equipment provided through the project "Post-COVID: Municipalities as drivers of sustainable development" was handed over to the premises of the fire station. It is a project for inter-municipal cooperation between Sveti Nikole and Lozovo, the main objective of which is to strengthen the capacities for response in crisis situations in the region of the two municipalities. This project is implemented by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in cooperation with the Ministry of Local Self-Government and the Bureau for Regional Development, and the purchase of the equipment is co-financed by the municipalities of Sveti Nikole and Lozovo.
The purchased equipment is intended for TPPE Sveti Nikole, which also covers the territory of the municipality of Lozovo. It is about personal protective and work equipment for firefighters, as well as collective technical equipment intended for interventions.
As part of the project, a website for the fire department was also created, and the municipalities joined the web and mobile application for reporting problems in the community "Prijavi 24". The total value of the project is 1,540,708.00 MKD, of which the municipalities co-financed 265,782.00 MKD.
The inter-municipal cooperation, which is the basis for this partnership, will contribute to greater safety of citizens and will be the basis for further investments, with the aim of improving living conditions and security in the municipalities of Sveti Nikole and Lozovo.
